The Music Ministry of BRBC

The Music Ministry at Barcelona Road Baptist Church has something for everyone! We sing and play “psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs” (Eph. 5:19; Col. 3:16). We worship, sing and pray “in spirit and in truth,” with energy and sincerity, in the power of God’s Holy Spirit and with the understanding of His Word, the Bible (John 4:23-24; 1 Cor. 14:15). Our music includes classical, traditional hymns, spirituals, Southern Gospel, as well as contemporary praise and worship selections. We consider the congregation our biggest and most important “choir.”

Under the direction of Jerry Jones, Interim Music Director, our sanctuary choir serves as lead worshipers every Sunday for the 10:30am service with a warm-up rehearsal at 9:00am. Choir rehearsals are Wednesday afternoon from 3:00pm to 4:00pm. 

Anyone high school age and up may sing in our choir provided they will commit to being faithful to attend rehearsals and services and can carry a tune in the same key with everyone else.
